How to Make Your Own Frozen Garlic Bread Slices
Thank you Idahoan® Steakhouse® Soups for sponsoring this post. Grab yourself a bowl and celebrate National Soup Month with me!
Did you know that January is National Soup Month? What better way to enjoy this typically chilly month than with a bowl of Idahoan® Steakhouse® Soups? I have been enjoying these soups with my family for the last 2 months. I had a chance to initially try them in December when I made these Easy Cheddar Biscuits on my main site. I got to try some delicious soups that I fell in love with.
Who would have thought preparing a bowl of flavorful, slow-cooked soup could be so easy? I am not too privy to canned soups so the line of Idahoan Steakhouse Soups is amazing considering they take 5 minutes to prepare, and just require water. We all can agree that time is precious, so restaurant-quality soups that can be prepared on the stove-top in minutes are ideal for this house!
We received the Loaded Potato Soup, Creamy Potato Soup, and the Cheddar Broccoli Potato Soup which I am featuring today.
Each soup pouch serves four people and features 100% Idaho Potatoes. They are available in four delicious varieties: Loaded Potato, Creamy Potato, Cheddar Broccoli and Cheddar Potato.
On the stovetop, heat 4 cups of water to a boil
Whisk in the soup pouch content. Reduce heat, and simmer for 5 mins stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat, and allow soup to stand for 5 minutes to slightly cool before serving.
Enjoy with a nice dipping medium like these homemade Frozen Garlic Bread Slices.
I really loved how cheesy, chunky, and creamy the Cheddar Broccoli Potato Soup was. Each bowl of soup was so flavorful, and had the slow-cooked taste of restaurant-quality soup at home, in just five minutes.
It was so hearty and totally reminded me of a soup I get at a local eatery. Now, I can have this restaurant quality soup on demand as long as I stock up on Idahoan Steakhouse Soups!
As mentioned, my soup went well with some garlic bread. Our family loves frozen garlic bread slices but I do not always love the fact that most have extra fillers in them that we do not need. So, being the ambitious person I am, I decided to make my own Frozen Garlic Bread Slices.
