A cookies lover’s dream. This Shortbread Latte features sweet notes of butter cookie, 2 shots of espresso, real whipped cream, caramel, and is topped with a shortbread butter cookie. Thank You to Torani for sponsoring today’s festive post. #AToraniHoliday
Oh, how I love the holiday season! The month of December typically flies by super fast so I love to savor every moment of it…literally. I am such a coffee fanatic so drinks like this Shortbread Lattefeed my addiction.
You see, I do try to go to the gym on a semi-regular basis but I love food and good drinks like way too much. The struggle is real you guys. Yummy, creamy, frothy drinks just make me happy–so to each their own!
Anyhow, besides putting up my two Christmas Trees (just call me Mrs. Claus) another must is a Festive Holiday Coffee Bar. Typically, I usually head to World Market or Amazon to stock up on Torani syrups.
Jared and I LOVE Torani and have been enjoying it for years. It is such a premium brand that makes THE best coffee, and drink syrups. Some of my very coffee shops like the Ebar at Nordstrom’s use their products -they make such amazing drinks.
BUT, they can add up so I like to invest in a holiday spread of Torani Syrups like Peppermint, Shortbread, and *NEW* this year- Chestnut Praline.
Last year, we lived in our old house and space was tight. We only had room for a coffee tray area. This year we have so much more space, and an official coffee bar. I bought this cute bar cart from Pottery Barn that I have been dying to find a purpose for.
I think I scored! What do you think?
The size perfectly fits my Capresso Espresso Maker, my Keurig, and supplies.
I can also wheel it easily and plug the machines in pretty much anywhere in my kitchen.
This brings me to Festive Holiday Coffee Bar Musts. What should your holiday coffee bar have? Here are some of my favorite add-ins, and holiday touches:
Torani’s original line is made with real, simple ingredients like pure cane sugar and natural ingredients. While not featured, Torani offers the largest variety of sugar-free flavors
My Coffee Bar features the following coffee syrups:
- Chestnut Praline, Peppermint, Shortbread, Eggnog, Gingerbread, Butter Pecan, Spicy Chai Tea, Spicy Chai Tea Base, Frappe Base, Caramel Sauce, and White Chocolate Sauce.
- Real Whipped Cream *get the recipe below*
- Holiday Marshmallows. We used snowflake ones
- Mint Chocolate Chips
- Mini Marshmallows
- Candy Canes
- Shortbread Cookies
- Sprinkles, candy glitters
- Coffee, Espresso, K-Cups
- Hot Cocoa
- Holiday Tray for serving
- Adult Alcohol additions for spiked drinks *optional*
I cannot wait to make soem frappes with the Frappe Base! A little goes a LONG way for a creamy, icy drink!
I will also be having a large holiday tray out for drink delivery, and one for assembly. Entertaining with good drinks this time of year is a must!
Let’s just say I will be experimenting A LOT with my new haul of Torani Flavor Syrups. Today, I made three test drinks that came out really delicious. Of course, you do not need to be an over-achiever and can use canned!
And the first drinks I experimented with were:
Peppermint Hot Chocolate, A Shortbread Latte, and Shortbread Caramel Hot Coffee
They were all really easy to make. I whipped up a batch of fresh whipped cream all while making the espresso shots, and prepping the hot cocoa.
Since Peppermint Hot Chocolate is “in” right now, I took a standard hot cocoa mix and added real mint chocolate chips and Torani Peppermint Flavored Syrup to my cup.
I topped it with a candy cane sprinkled giant snowflake marshmallow- totally delish!
For the Shortbread Latte, I made two shots of espresso and frothed some milk. In the cup, I added 2 caramel cubes, and 2 tablespoons of Torani Shortbread Flavored Syrup.
I then topped the cup with real whipped cream, 1 tablespoon of crumbled shortbread butter cookies, a swizzle of Torani Caramel Syrup, and 2 additional cookies.
This Shortbread Latte was Ahhhmazing. You totally need to make one…like STAT!!
