Garlic Bacon Sauteed Green Beans Made With Lard
A flavorful way to enjoy fresh green beans. The flavor of the bacon, and garlic, paired with the crunch of the almonds makes this a must-have side dish.

- 1 lb raw green beans trimmed, and washed
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tablespoon Armour Premium All-Natural Lard
- 1/4 cup slivered almonds
- 2 slices bacon
In a stock put add some water to the pan and steam the green beans for 3 mins. to get them tender.
Add Lard to a large skillet.
Add in garlic cloves and bacon, and pan fry for 2 mins over medium heat.
Drain, and add in green beans, and pan fry for an additional 10 mins or until bacon is crispy and green beans are tender.
Add in almonds, and mix - cook for 1 min.
Add green beans to a serving dish and enjoy warm.
