Iced Pumpkin Scones Recipe

Servings: 8 scones
- 2 cups white flour
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp cloves
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 stick of butter
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 2 tsps vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 2 cups powdered sugar
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Place parchment paper on baking sheet.
In a large bowl mix all the dry ingredients.
Add cubed butter to flour mixture, and work flour into beads using your clean hands.
Mix all the wet ingredients in together.
Pour into the dry ingredients, and mix until combined,
Using additional flour, flour the parchment paper, a dough cutter, and your hands.
Move dough to the parchment, and form into a circle.
Using a floured cutter, cut dough into 8 triangles.
Gently separate them on the sheet.
Bake for 13-15 mins or until done.
Allow to cool and then glaze.
