Homemade Seasoned Pita Chips
Making Homemade Seasoned Pita Chips and crostini this holiday season is easier than you think. Add an extra flavorful touch to your snack trays and cheese platters with these easy seasoned pita chips & crostini bites that are jam-packed with flavor
Servings: 6 people
- 1/2 lb Pita Bread 2 large Pita Bread pockets
- 1/2 lb ciabatta bread or any small slices of artisan bread
- 4 tbsps melted butter
- 1/2 tsp Herbs de Provence
- 3 tbsps Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Prepare a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Heat oven to 250 degrees fahrenheit.
On a cutting board slice your pitas in half to reveal two sides.
Firmly press your cookie cutters into the bread to make shapes.
For trees, simply cut the pita into triangles and fins the bottoms center, cut two lines in it for the trunk and two tiny triangles in it to make the bottoms.
For the crostini, cut ciabatta bread into small pieces
Brush ALL bread shapes/pieces with melted butter and sprinkle with herbs & cheese
Bake at 250 for ten minutes until golden brown
Allow to cool fully before storing them.
Nutrition is based on 3 pieces per person, but may vary depending on how much you eat and make.
These are best eaten the same day but do store for 24 hours in an airtight container once cooled.
