Disappearing Peeps Magic Marshmallow Bites

This Disappearing Peeps Magic Marshmallow Bites “puffs” recipe is so fun and delicious. Kids really love them and adults do too! They are a perfect recipe experiment for kids to help bake this Easter and spring season.

Equipment

  • Oven (adjusted to center rack position)
  • Silicone muffin pan/muffin tin
  • nonstick baking spray
  • plastic knife
  • microwave-safe bowls (optional)

Ingredients

  • 8 Peeps your choice of colors
  • 12 ounces Pillsbury Grands! Big & Buttery Crescent Rolls- 8ct. You can also use biscuits, or crescent dough sheets.
  • Candy melts, icing, frosting, sprinkles optional for decorating

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350° Fahrenheit, and make sure your oven rack is in the center position. Spray a silicone (best option, trust me) or metal muffin pan with nonstick baking spray.
  • Unwrap your dough, and add each piece to one muffin tin space. If you are using jumbo biscuit dough, press dough down to expand it a bit. Add one Peep Brand Marshmallow to each dough piece center, and wrap it completely. Flip bun over in the pan seam side down.
  • Bake for 11-12 minutes or until tops are golden brown and firm to the touch. Using oven mitts, remove puffs from the pan using a plastic knife to help pry. You need to do this while they are hot so that the marshmallow doesn’t stick to the pan and make a huge mess.
  • Once cooled, coat in powder sugar, dip in melted candy, icing, or frosting to decorate.
