Chinese Sausage Fried Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Bianco Chinese Brand Links  grilled and chopped
  • 3 tablespoons butter divided
  • 2 large eggs scrambled
  • 2 tablespoons sherry wine
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 4 cloves garlic pressed
  • ½ teaspoon fresh ginger pressed
  • 1 large yellow onion diced
  • cups frozen peas, carrots, and green beans
  • 1 cup fresh bean sprouts
  • ½ cup green onion sliced
  • 6 cups Jasmine rice day old
  • cup light soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Instructions

  • Add one tablespoon of butter to a heated wok and scrambled theeggs. Once done, remove eggs from the pan and set aside.
  • Add another tablespoon of butter, garlic, ginger, onion and vegetables to the wok. Over medium-high heat stir fry them with the sherry wine, salt, and pepper to taste. Once vegetables are tender, add in the beansprouts and cook until just wilted and tender.
  • Add the last tablespoon of butter, green onion, cooked sausage, and rice to the pan, and turn up the heat to high. Stir in the soy sauce and oyster sauce. Using your wooden spoon, continuously mix the ingredients until the rice begins to get some toasted color; about 5 minutes. Remove pan from the heat and stir in the sesame oil. Be sure to enjoy the dish warm!
