Easy Sautéed Brussels Sprouts with Bacon
Savory, and slightly smoky in flavor, these brussels sprouts have a slightly sweet taste and complement the bacon so perfectly. Enjoy as a side dish for a variety of meals.

bacon

brussels sprouts
trimmed, halved

teaspoon
salt
to taste

teaspoon
ground black pepper
to taste
Instructions
Cut off the ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow outer leaves. Cut in half if they are particularly large; set aside.
In a large skillet, fry the bacon over medium-high heat until crisp.
Remove bacon from the pan carefully, and set aside. Leave grease in the pan.
Add the brussels sprouts to the skillet, and coat with the bacon grease, and season. Cover the pan and reduce heat to medium; cook for 8 minutes.
Return the bacon to the pan, and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
Serve warm!
