- 1 tbsp. green onion chopped
- 36 wonton wrappers
- 2 tbsps. olive oil *can use vegetable oil too
- 1/4 cup water *to dip fingers in to seal wrappers
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Add cream cheese, spices, sugar, and diced green onion to a medium mixing bowl. Mix with a wooden spoon to combine.
Fill wonton wrappers with one teaspoon of filling in the center of each.
Dip fingers in water bowl to seal wontons either by pinching all edges up, or by sealing like a football, and then bringing the ends over like an envelope.
Brush baking sheet with one tablespoon of oil and place it in the oven for one minute to heat up to crisp the bottoms of the wontons.
Brush each wonton lightly with oil- a little goes a long way.
Carefully remove heated baking tray from the oven, and add wontons flat side down to the baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes.
These taste best when served with spicy chili sauce or sweet and sour.
