Glazed Pumpkin Walnut Donuts

The perfect harvest donut recipe that contains the perfect amount of pumpkin and sweetness.

  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup canned pumpkin
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • pinch kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/ cup vanilla frosting melted
  • 1/3 cup walnuts crushed


In a large bowl, whisk your dry ingredients.

  • Add in your pumpkin, egg, extract, and butter until well combined. 
  • Your batter with be very thick, but that’s spot on!
  • Add to greased donut maker, and bake for 6-8 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Once donuts are cooled, frost them with melted frosting and then sprinkle crushed walnuts on top.
