Patriotic Star Shaped Cereal Treats Recipe 

Cheerios cereal is dyed blue, and mixed with a blend red, white, and blue Sixlets, and melted marshmallows. They are shaped into stars using star pan molds and are perfect to celebrate America’s Patriotic holidays.

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces Mini Marshmallows
  • 1 stick Butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon Wilton Sky Blue Food Gel
  • 1 cup Red, white, and blue Sixlets

Instructions

  • Add your Cheerios to a large bowl and set aside.
  • In a small saucepan melt your butter, and marshmallows over low heat; constantly stirring. Once mixture is fully mixed, add your Wilton food gel to the pan and mix.

  • Fill lightly greased pan with the mixture and press into the molds.
  • After all your mixture is in the molds/pan add your Sixlets to the top of each.
  • Allow to cool for 30 minutes, and gently coax your treats out using a mini rubber spatula.
