Ingredients

  • 1 box vanilla cake mix prepared according to the box instructions
  • 1/2 cup vanilla frosting
  • 12 oz bag of white chocolate melting candies
  • 120 Easter M&M’S® Milk Chocolate

Instructions

  • Bake your vanilla cake according to the box instructions
  • Allow cake to fully cool before crumbling into fine pieces.
  • Once cake is crumbled, add in 1/2 cup of vanilla frosting to make cake moldeable.
  • Cake pops should easily mold into small balls
  • Once all the balls are rolled, place them in the freezer for 15 mins
  • Once cake balls are chilled, slice off about 1/4 inch of them to make a flat face surface. This will allow you to easily adhere the candies to make the flowers.
  • Heat candy melts over a double boiler
  • Pour heated candy into a large glass. This makes dipping easier!
  • Dip about 1/2 inch of the cake pop sticks into melted candy and then insert the sticks into the balls. Place pops back into the freezer for 5 mins.
  • Once sticks are dry, insert pops into the melted candy and immediately decorate each with the Easter M&M’S® Milk Chocolate. Melting candy firms up quick so it is best to do it this way. You can always reheat your melting candy back to consistency.
  • Repeat until all cake pops/truffles are done.
  • Chill until firm
  • Bag each pop or truffle and tie off with a ribbon.
