Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Oil (to coat basket)
  • skillet
  • Apple peeler and corer
  • cutting board
  • small bowl
  • Pastry brush

Ingredients

  • 2 large tart apples cored, peeled, diced
  • 12 ounces Pillsbury™ Grands! Original Crescent Rolls 8 Count
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter divided
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar

Cinnamon & Sugar Coating

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  • Wash, peel, core, and diced apples into small chunks. Toss with cinnamon and sugar. Over low-medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of butter to the skillet and add in apples. Pan fry for about 5 minutes or until apples are tender; remove from heat and set aside.
  • Unwrap crescent dough and stretch them into large triangles. Add 1 1/2 tablespoons of filling to each. Starting from the flat side of the triangle roll under the crescents to make the shape in image. Tuck in side to close them.
  • Coat the air fryer basket with nonstick spray or olive oil. Set the air fryer position (if applicable) to the bottom rack position.
  • Add the crescents in batches ( unless you have a larger air fryer) and cook them for 8-10 minutes at 350°F. The crescents will be golden browned, and feel firm to the touch on both sides. If baking, bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 10-13 minutes.
  • Once all crescent apple rolls are done, brush them with melted butter, and dip them in cinnamon and sugar mixture. Serve warm and enjoy!
