Cheesy Beef Macaroni One Pot Meal

This cheesy beef macaroni one pot meal is a hearty and satisfying dish that can be made in under 30 minutes. Tender beef, sautéed onion, tomato, and spices are simmered with macaroni, and lots of cheese! The best part about this dish? It's all cooked in one pan!   • 6-quart Dutch oven

  • 1 pound Laura's Lean Beef any variety you prefer
  • 1 large yellow onion diced
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups beef broth *can also use chicken broth
  • cups whole milk
  • 14 ounces canned diced tomatoes drained
  • 8 ounces dry macaroni
  • 16 ounces cheddar cheese freshly shredded
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil chopped


  • Add onion, and beef to a Dutch oven over medium heat. Cook until browned and drain an excess grease. There should not be much when you use Laura's Lean Beef.
  • Add salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning to the pot. Stir in the beef broth, tomatoes, milk, and macaroni. Bring Dutch oven to a boil stirring occasionally to prevent the macaroni from sticking. Once boiling, reduce heat and bring pot to a simmer for ten minutes; stir occasionally. Macaroni should be al dente.
  • Once macaroni is cooked, reduce heat to low, and add shredded cheese. Remove from heat and allow the meal to thicken. This will get thicker as it cools. Serve warm!
