Air Fryer Bacon Wrapped Chicken Tenders

Chicken tenders are seasoned and wrapped in bacon. Air fried to a perfect crisp, they are then finished in a sweet and savory glaze.

Ingredients

  • pounds chicken tenders
  • 12 ounces Turkey bacon (12 slices) *can use any bacon you prefer
  • 1 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon chili seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ cup BBQ sauce
  • ¼ cup Sweet chili sauce

Instructions

  • Toss the chicken tenders with olive oil. After they're evenly coated, toss them in the dry spices making sure all surfaces are seasoned.
    1½ pounds chicken tenders, 1 teaspoon cumin, ½ teaspoon chili seasoning, ½ teaspoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Mix the sweet chili sauce and the BBQ sauce together.
    ¼ cup BBQ sauce, ¼ cup Sweet chili sauce
  • Spray the air fryer tray/basket with nonstick spray and then preheat air fryer to 375°F.
  • Tightly wrap the bacon around the seasoned chicken tenders. Place wrapped tenders on the air fryer tray or basket.
    12 ounces Turkey bacon
  • Air fry for 8 minutes and then flip the chicken to air fryer the opposite side. Once internal temperature of the chicken in 165°F. and the bacon is crisp, remove the tenders from the air fryer.
  • Baste tenders with sauce and return to air fryer for 1 minute.
  • Serve warm with an additional side of sauce.

Notes
