Air Fryer Balsamic Mushrooms & Onions

A quick and easy way to sauté and caramelize mushrooms and onions. This side is perfect over mashed potatoes or paired with steak.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound white mushrooms washed and sliced
  • 1 large Vidalia onion sliced
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 sprigs fresh thyme
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees F.
  • In a bowl, combine the mushrooms, onions, balsamic vinegar, and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Transfer the mixture to the air fryer basket and cook for 15 minutes, stirring halfway until the mushrooms and onions are crispy.
  • Serve immediately. Enjoy!
