As many of you know, spending time in my kitchen cooking and baking is my favorite past time. Cooking relieves so much stress and allows me to create delicious and amazing baked goods and foods for my family of 5. I grew up around a mother who cooked daily and lived upstairs from one amazing grandma or “Vavo” as we say in Portuguese.
It is no surprise that I get my love of cooking and all things kitchen from my Vavo who was my late father’s mother. She was such a special woman who always has a pot or pan of something cooking!
Boy, do I miss those days of being with her in the kitchen!
But now, it is time for me to make memories with my 3 kids, and hopefully in the future I will be a grandma.
Right now, I am blessed with all newer GE stainless steel appliances that came with my 2017 new home. I love my GE dishwasher, stove, microwave, and refrigerator.
However today is all about grandmas!
No matter what you call your grandma, whether it be Mimi, or Grammy we most likely all have a special grandmother in our lives. Maybe you even are a grandmother yourself!
