Make Easy Pizza Dough
Making pizza dough at home can be overwhelming if you do not have the proper supplies. For this easy, 30 minute pizza crust recipe, you will need to have some common kitchen gadgets ready, and a preheated pizza stone for the crispiest, most delicious pizza that is not soggy.
One of the most important tips is to have a clean, de-cluttered counter space to easily prep your dough throughout each step. I have provided a handy visual of the steps this dough requires.
Supplies Needed

Make Meat Lovers Pizza
Once you have prepared the crust, it is now ready for the toppings which you can find below. The recipe card provides everything you need to know for this recipe. Find the printable version below.

- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 1 ounce pepperoni slices
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- 1/3 cup ground hamburger
- 1/3 cup chopped ham precooked
- 4 ounces breakfast sausage links browned
- 3 tbsps. cornmeal * for dusting the baking sheet
- 1 tsp parsley
- 1/8 tsp salt

Meat Lovers Pizza can have bacon on it and salami and varies slightly. For this recipe, browned beef, honey baked ham chunks, fresh breakfast sausage, and pepperoni were used. They baked up to a crispy perfection and made this pizza EXCELLENT.

Importance of a Preheated Pizza Stone
Having a properly preheated pizza stone is key to a crispy, fully cooked pizza that is easy to remove. Your pizza should always slide right off the stone and should NEVER stick.
To preheat your stone, place it in the oven at 425 degrees Fahrenheit to prepare it for the pizza. Do not add any cornmeal until right before transferring the pizza from the baking sheet backside to the stone.
A preheated pizza stone sprinkled with a little corn meal makes the removal of your pizza easy. You do not need to spray a pizza stone with nonstick spray. The corn meal serves as your nonstick agent.
Do not ever place frozen dough on a hot stone as this will crack it. This recipe will make dough that is about room temperature so it is perfectly fine to add to a preheated stone. Cold dough is a big no-no which is why you should never place frozen pizza or dough on hot stones. The clay is very temperamental to drastic temperature changes.

Slice Your Pizza
This pizza recipe makes a standard 12″ pizza that is really filing if you ask my family! It easily cuts into 8 slices using a pizza cutter. We always remove our pizza from the stone and place it on a large plate for cutting. Since the crust is so crispy, this pizza slides off with total ease.

I love how the crust easily holds its shape without a flop, or sogginess.

*Always remember to follow instructions on your yeast package–namely the warm water step. Add water heated to 120˚F-130˚F and follow recipe instructions. Always use a thermometer to check temperature. Check to make sure your yeast is not expired, which is a common cause of yeast not rising.
