S’mores Milkshakes are a fun and delicious way to enjoy all the ingredients of a classic s’mores snack in a decadent milkshake.
It is not summer until the grill fires up and the s’mores are made around the BBQ pit. Our family love to make s’mores during warm weather nights.
There is nothing tastier than the toasted marshmallow sandwiched between a deliciously sweet graham cracker with melted chocolate. We love s’mores so much that I wanted to share my take on a S’mores Milkshake.
Our kids love playing outside during the summer so these S’mores Milkshakes are perfect for outdoors. They are an ice-cold treat that can get a little messy.
S’mores Milkshakes are just so fun!! I mean, look at them—tasty little works of art!
National S’mores Day is approaching soon so how fitting are these icy, creamy dessert-like drinks?
S’mores Milkshake Ingredients
- 5 scoops hard vanilla ice cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup Ice Cubes
- 1 cup + 1 sheet graham crackers crush 1 cup & keep one sheet whole
- 6 mini chocolate bars keep 3 whole*
- 2 tablespoons sundae fudge warmed
- whipped cream (as needed)
- 9 jumbo Marshmallows
Perfectly crumbled graham crackers that gently adhere to it. Whipped cream, a chocolate bar, more graham crackers, and more chocolate.
Oh, and we cannot forget that beautiful red cherry on top! S’mores Milkshakes are the PERFECT way to celebrate the summer.
However, there is one small part of this tasty equation that I do not love.
The mess.
Yes, my three kids are in fact professional mess makers. Their little fingers just love to smudge the fudge everywhere, and fish for the graham pieces, and that beloved cherry in their glasses.
Hand wipes to the rescue!! They are totally a must if your kids are messy eaters!
As you can see, my younger two children made a giant-sized mess of their hands with all the S’mores Milkshakes ingredients. All the dipping, licking, picking, and touching had their little hands covered in glue-like mess.
