A quick and Easy way to make your own frozen garlic bread for quick enjoyment. Skip the freezer section and make your own garlic bread toast that is ready from freezer to oven in 5 minutes time. Perfect to serve with a bowl of soup!

Ingredients

  • 1 large loaf French Bread
  • 1 stick Butter softened
  • 4 cloves garlic minced finely
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Herbs
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • pinch of salt *optional

Instructions

  • Slice Italian loaf carefully into thick slices.
  • Mix the herb/spices with the softened butter.
  • Line the bread slices on a large baking sheet (one that will fit into your freezer)
  • Spread the butter mixture onto each slice.
  • Place in the freezer for at least 1 hour.
  • Place frozen slices into a freezer bag with the date on them.
  • To heat, heat oven to 400- bake for 5 minutes or until golden brown.
