Equipment

  • oven adjusted to center rack position
  • medium mixing bowl
  • Whisk
  • knife
  • Pastry brush
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg Schubert’s Parker House Rolls
  • 21 ounces peach pie filling
  • ¼ cup salted butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • ¼ cup brown sugar

Icing Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk *can also use water or heavy cream

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, whisk the melted butter, cinnamon, and sugar.
  • Gently slice open the Sister Schubert’s Parker House rolls along their natural fold. If using a pull-apart pack, you can separate them first or keep them connected for a "pull-apart" cobbler style.
  • Generously brush the inside of each bun with your cinnamon sugar butter. Stuff the center with your prepared canned peach filling (drained and diced).
  • Pop the tops back down to close the rolls. Brush the exterior tops of the buns with the remaining buttery cinnamon sugar to ensure a caramelized, golden crust.
  • Arrange the rolls in a baking dish and bake at 350°F for 15 minutes, or until the buns are toasted and the peach filling is warm and bubbly.
  • While the rolls are still warm, drizzle the vanilla glaze over the tops. Serve immediately while the centers are gooey and the tops are crisp!
