Equipment

  • 8 x 8 casserole dish
  • oven adjusted to center rack position
  • Measuring Cups & spoons
  • cutting board & knife
  • peeler
  • Microwave
  • microwave-safe bowl

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces Original Pillsbury Crescents
  • 8 ounces unsalted butter (1 stick)
  • 1 large ripe sweet peach peeled, remove pit
  • ¾ cup light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ tablespoon all-pupose flour
  • ½ cup lemon-lime soda

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350℉. Grease an 8 x 8 baking dish and set aside.
  • Toss peach slices in cinnamon sugar, and flour to coat.
  • Unwrap Original Pillsbury Crescents and open each triangle.
  • Add one peach slice to each and roll up. Place each dumpling in the greased dish.
  • Add brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and extract to the butter and stir until thick and combined.
  • Pour the mixture over the crescents.
  • Carefully pour the soda around the rolls but not over them as this will prevent them from baking properly and staying coated.
  • Bake for 32-35 minutes at 350℉ or until the crescents feel firm and golden brown.
  • Before serving spoon caramelized sauce over them and serve with ice cream. Enjoy!
