Pot Roast and Veggies in the Crock Pot

A delicious and simple pot roast and veggies in the crock pot meal. A few simple tricks will produce the most tender and flavor meal.

  • 1 Top or Bottom Round Pot Roast 4-5 lbs
  • 4 large red potatoes halved
  • 3 large carrots cut into thirds
  • 2 large onions cut into halves
  • 1 tablespoon Montreal Steak Seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup water


  • Prepare you crock pot, and add one cup of water to it
  • Add meat and season well with the Montreal seasoning
  • Cut up veggies and line the potatoes first around the sides, then carrots, and last onions which with rest on top of the meat
  • Cook on low heat for 8 hours
  • Serve and enjoy
