Why This is Your Friesgiving MVP

Ultimate Shareable Side/Main: Traditional casserole is scooped; this is perfectly portioned for mingling and grazing. Serve it buffet-style and watch your friends hover.
A “New Classic” Flavor Twist: It hits all the beloved holiday flavors—sweet potato, pecan, brown sugar, and marshmallow—but in an exciting, unexpected format. It’s comforting and gourmet all at once.

The Stars of the Show: Fall Flavors Reimagined
Every ingredient is pulled straight from the holiday flavor playbook, working together to deliver a perfect blend of sweet, and savory!
Toasted Pecans: Adding both a buttery crunch and a nutty depth, pecans are essential for replicating that traditional casserole topping texture. Toasting them briefly enhances their aroma and flavor.
McCain Frozen Sweet Potato Crinkle Fries: These are the foundation of our Friesgiving masterpiece. The crinkle cut ensures you get maximum surface area for a truly crispy-on-the-outside texture that perfectly holds up to the sweet toppings.
Brown Sugar & Marshmallow Drizzle: This duo creates the sticky-sweet, caramelized essence of a baked casserole top. The brown sugar melts slightly on the hot fries, and the warm marshmallow drizzle seals the deal with that signature gooey finish.
Fresh Sage: This is the secret ingredient that elevates the dish. Sage’s warm, earthy, slightly peppery flavor provides a necessary savory balance, keeping the dish sophisticated and preventing it from becoming overly sweet.

Friesgiving Prep
Air Fry According to Bag Directions: Preheat your air fryer to 380F. Place a single layer of McCain Frozen Sweet Potato Crinkle Fries in the air fryer basket. Air fry for 9-13 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the fries are golden brown and crispy (refer to your bag for exact timing). Work in batches if necessary. You can also use the oven if your air fryer is not large enough.
Top for Toasting: Immediately transfer the hot, crispy fries to an oven-safe dish, or baking tray which can fit in your air fryer-providing it is a tray-style that can also bake. If not, the top rack of the oven also works, but fries must be on a baking sheet. Sprinkle generously with brown sugar, chopped fresh sage, and pecans.
Toast the Marshmallows: Place a few mini marshmallows on top of the fries. Return the plate/baking sheet to the air fryer, or oven. Increase the temperature to 400F. and air fry/bake for an additional 3-5 minutes, watching closely until the marshmallows are slightly golden brown.
Drizzle and Serve: Carefully remove the fries. For the grand finale, warm your marshmallow drizzle slightly to make it pourable, then drizzle it liberally over the top of the toasted marshmallows and fries. Serve your Friesgiving masterpiece immediately!

Leftovers
Honestly, I don’t think there will be any because they’re that good! If there are, they won’t really keep well in the fridge, but rest assured, if you love sweet potato casserole–you will devour these…try to save some for the guests-haha!
