Crescent Rolls Taco Bake

If you love the flavors of all things taco, you'll enjoy this fuss-free dinner recipe. This hearty taco bake is easy to whip up and features ground beef, cheddar, seasoning, beans, salsa, and Pillsbury Crescent Rolls.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 ounce taco spice
  • 15.5 ounces pinto beans *rinsed and drained
  • 24 ounces salsa *use your favorite variety
  • 8 ounces shredded Mexican cheese
  • 8 ounces Pillsbury Crescent roll *sheet or regular triangles pinched together to form a sheet.
  • green onion *optional as garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
  • Stir in the beans, salsa, taco seasoning (if using), and cheese.
  • Spread the mixture evenly in the bottom of a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and press it over the top of the meat mixture, sealing the edges.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • Let cool for 5 minutes before serving with desired toppings like lettuce, sour cream, and tomato.
