Grilled Garlic Bread: The Ultimate BBQ Side

Ingredients

  • 8 tablespoons O Lakes® Salted Butter, melted melted
  • 1 tablespoon Italian Herbs
  • 6-8 cloves garlic pressed
  • 1 large Italian Loaf sliced in half

Instructions

  • In the microwave, or small sauce pan, melt 8 tablespoons of 8 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Salted Butter, melted
  • Using a garlic press, press 6-8 cloves into the melted butter. Add the Italian herbs and mix. Using a pastry brush, spread the garlic butter mixture generously over the cut sides of the bread halves.
  • Preheat your grill to medium-high.
  • Place the bread halves, butter-side up, directly on the preheated grill grates. Cook for 2-3 minutes. This allows the butter to melt and soak into the bread while the bottom toasts. You'll see grill marks begin to form on the underside.
  • Carefully flip the bread over so the buttered side is now down on the grill.
  • Grill for just 1-2 minutes. This step is fast! Watch it very closely as the butter can cause rapid browning and even flare-ups. You're aiming for golden-brown deliciousness and defined grill marks.
  • Once the buttered side is perfectly grilled, remove the bread immediately. Slice and enjoy hot!
