Ingredients
8tablespoonsO Lakes® Salted Butter, meltedmelted
1tablespoonItalian Herbs
6-8clovesgarlicpressed
1largeItalian Loaf sliced in half
Instructions
In the microwave, or small sauce pan, melt 8 tablespoons of 8 tablespoons Land O Lakes® Salted Butter, melted
Using a garlic press, press 6-8 cloves into the melted butter. Add the Italian herbs and mix. Using a pastry brush, spread the garlic butter mixture generously over the cut sides of the bread halves.
Preheat your grill to medium-high.
Place the bread halves, butter-side up, directly on the preheated grill grates. Cook for 2-3 minutes. This allows the butter to melt and soak into the bread while the bottom toasts. You'll see grill marks begin to form on the underside.
Carefully flip the bread over so the buttered side is now down on the grill.
Grill for just 1-2 minutes. This step is fast! Watch it very closely as the butter can cause rapid browning and even flare-ups. You're aiming for golden-brown deliciousness and defined grill marks.
Once the buttered side is perfectly grilled, remove the bread immediately. Slice and enjoy hot!
