Mummy Garlic Bread Toasts: A Spooktacularly Simple Halloween Treat!

Ingredients

  • 9 slices NY Bakery Texas Toast made with Real Garlic
  • 6-8 whole mozzarella cheese sticks
  • ½ cup marinara sauce
  • ¼ cup sliced black olives

Instructions

  • Air fry garlic bread toasts in a single layer (in batches, if needed) at 375℉ for 3–5 minutes until golden and crispy.
  • Remove the crispy toasts and set them aside. Preheat your air fryer to 350℉ for the final stage.
  • Spread a light, thin layer (about 1–2 teaspoons) of marinara sauce over the surface of each hot toast.
  • Unwrap string cheese and gently pull it apart into thinner, irregular strands.
  • Lay the cheese strands over the sauce-topped toasts, crisscrossing them to look like tattered bandages. Be sure to leave a small, clear gap near the top third for the eyes.
  • Place two small slices of black olive in the exposed gap on each toast for the mummy's eyes.
  • Carefully place 3–5 assembled mummy toasts back into the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Air fry at the preheated 350℉ for approximately 5 minutes. Watch closely until the cheese is completely melted, gooey, and bubbly (but not browned).
  • Transfer the finished toasts to a platter and allow to cool for a minute before serving.
