How to Make Garlic Vegetable Stir Fry
Making this garlic vegetable stir fry is super easy! I added oil to my wok and heated it over medium-high heat. Then, I added my fresh cut vegetables to the pan. I made sure to cut the onion, peppers, and broccoli into smaller, uniform-sized pieces ahead of time.
This allows them to cook evenly in the heated wok. I seasoned my veggies directly in the wok and used a wooden spoon to stir them frequently for 10-15 minutes.

What Vegetables Can be Added to Stir Fry?
For this recipe, I purchased my ingredients at Walmart. I wanted this recipe to be budget-friendly so I stuck with basic stir fry veggies that I enjoy the most. However, you can add bamboo shoots, snow peas, baby corn, and water chestnuts.

No Sauce Vegetable Stir Fry
Looking to make your stir fry without a sweet, thick sauce? Maybe you do not like soy sauce? If so, that is ok! The naturally sweet white onions, and peppers produce a sweetness that balances the broccoli & mushrooms. Powdered or fresh ginger, salt, pepper, and the fresh garlic complement the rice and vegetables.

You can also add onion powder, garlic powder, liquid smoke, or chili peppers flakes to these vegetables if you enjoy added flavor.

Vegetable stir fry is a favorite in my family. I make mine a little different though. I add a little oyster sauce or Hoisin sauce, just enough to coat the vegetables after they’re cooked.
I also like quick meals like this. Also, it’s great that you can add the veggies that you like too!
