These🍓Strawberry-Banana 🍌Ice Pops are made with Kefir, fresh strawberries, and super ripe banana. Blended until creamy, this indulgently guilt-free concoction freezes beautifully for a sweet, tangy ice pop.

The summertime is all about frozen eats and treats. One of our family’s favorite snacks is ice pops- also known as popsicles. They are refreshing and tasty but are loaded with sugar and unnatural dyes. I have been on a mission to create more wholesome varieties like these Orange Cream Ice Pops.
Lifeway Kefir is something I normally have in the fridge because I make my smoothies with it. I love that they have so many flavors! Did you know you can bake with the Lifeway Whole Milk Kefir? You can find my tasty Kefir Banana Bread recipe on the site to save for a cool day.
By nature, Kefir is tangy so adding ripe bananas and strawberries is super important. These took the edge off the tanginess for us, but sometimes I add 1/4 cup of honey to the blender to make it a tad bit sweeter if my fruit is not overly ripe.

Why We Love These Kefir Ice Pops
Healthy and refreshing: This delicious, frozen treat is packed with nutrients from the fruit and the probiotic benefits of kefir.
Easy to customize: I love that I can adjust the sweetness, add other fruits, or mix in extras like granola or chocolate chips.
Cost-effective – Making home “popsicles” is cheaper than buying them at the store.
Strawberry Banana Kefir Ice Pop Ingredients
Kefir – We love the Lifeway Kefir brand. The Strawberry Banana flavor made a tasty base for these pops. If you cannot find this flavor adding honey to the pops is a must.
Strawberry – I removed the stems, washed my berries, and added them whole to the blender. You can use fresh berries as well. These will add the pink color and strawberry flavor.
Banana – The riper the banana, the better for this recipe. I used a small/medium super ripe banana and it worked out great.
Honey – This will help to remove the tang from the kefir and sweeten the pops.
