Baked wontons are some of my favorite appetizers.They are super versatile and can be filled with both sweet & savory fillings.
Some of these recipes can be prepared earlier in the day for quick party snacks.
Today, I am sharing some dinner, dessert, and snack wonton recipes that any level of chef can create!
Wontons are awesome because they are super easy to prepare in a muffin tin.
The best part is, you do not need to add heavy oils or extra grease, so it’s a healthier option than deep frying!
Do you need oil to bake wonton cups?
The answer is no! You do not need any additional oil or butter to produce a perfect crisp cup. Most of these recipes call for a pre-baked wonton cup which fillings are then added to.
The standard baking time for double layered wonton wrappers (baked in a muffin tin) is 8 minutes. Baked at a temperature of 350 degrees f , you can use these cups for sweet or savory dishes.
